Welcome to East End United Methodist Church!
We believe that Jesus’ message of unconditional love means that every human being is a child of God and is worthy of love, respect and inclusion. We welcome and embrace people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, physical and mental ability, education, and housing status.
We stand against discrimination and exclusion by choosing to worship and serve with all people through love, acceptance and reconciliation.

Holy Week Worship
Palm/Passion Sunday – March 29, 10:30 am – We will observe the triumphal entry of Jesus to Jerusalem with traditional palm branches and hosannas. Then, through Reader’s Theater, we will experience Jesus’ agonizing journey to the cross from the Gospel of Mark.
Maundy Thursday – April 2, 6:00 pm – We will start in the new room off the parlor and parking lot. The highlight of our service will be a meal shared around tables as we commemorate the Last Supper. Our worship service will conclude upstairs in the sanctuary. It will be important to be on time because we will begin promptly at 6:00 with lasagna (vegetarian and meat), salad, and bread.
Good Friday – April 3 at Inglewood UMC, 7:00 pm – A Service of Tenebrae that makes use of gradually diminishing light through the extinguishing of candles to symbolize the events of Holy Week.
Easter – April 5, 10:30 am – Celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The service will offer extraordinary music, including trumpets and timpani, as well as the all-church Hallelujah Chorus.
