Are you looking for an inclusive, affirming, grace-filled and fun summer event for your child? If so, we have created Compassion Camp for you and your family. At Compassion Camp, our goal is that children will grow in compassion and empathy for others and themselves all while exploring the Christian faith through hands-on, kid-friendly experiences alongside a community of love and grace.

East End United Methodist Church and Eastwood Christian Church invite you to Compassion Camp. This event will be held on June 1-4 from 6:00-7:45 PM at Eastwood Christian Church (1601 Eastland Ave., Nashville, TN. 37206) in partnership with East End United Methodist Church. This event is FREE and open to all children who are 4 years (by June 1) to rising 5th grade.

At Compassion Camp, children will discover, experience and explore God’s love and grace and what it means to have compassion and empathy for others, the world and themselves. We hope for children to enjoy hearing stories from the Bible while they grow and learn about how our faith in God forms our lives as people filled with compassion and care.  Children will enjoy music, crafts, games and skits as they make friends, grow in faith and build memories.

This year's Compassion Camp theme is: Just Like Me

This program is designed to help kids celebrate their own identities as beloved creation of God—just as they are. Over the course of the week, campers will be introduced to cast of neighborhood Gardeners who will help them explore Biblical stories of people who were able to change things for the better. Students will practice sharing what they have, finding their community, and using their voice for others!
