As we look toward moving into our new church home in 2026, we continue to reflect on the “new thing” God is doing among us. This season of transition invites us to relocate, renew our ministries, and reimagine what it means to be East End UMC. Together, we are discerning how each of us can participate in God’s work among us.

We invite every household to submit an estimate of your financial support for East End UMC in 2026. All stewardship materials have now been mailed, including the “Estimate of Support” card for indicating your level of giving for the coming year. If you did not receive your card, please let us know so we can provide one. We will gather and dedicate these commitments later this fall.

God has continued to lead us faithfully as we move toward our new church home. With God’s help, we are drawing closer to realizing this long-held, prayerfully discerned vision. Now we step into the future that awaits and offer what we can to ensure the flourishing of East End UMC and her ministries.

Our guiding scripture for this year’s campaign is Isaiah 43:18-19. These prophetic words invite us not to dwell on the past but to perceive the new thing God is doing. God has been faithful to “make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” during our many challenges since the tornadoes of March 2020. Likewise, we have been faithful to God as we have continued our vital witness to one another, to our community, and to the world. In 2026, we will take the next and most bold step forward into this new future.
